What is GMinder?
GMinder is a reminder program that waits in your system tray and alerts you when you have an upcoming Google Calendar event.
GMinder supports multiple calendars and allows you to configure how you want to be alerted. Since it downloads your events, it works offline and enables you to preview your agenda of events. New events can be added to your Google Calendars using a Quick Add feature.

It's very small. Not huge like google desktop. It just suits the single purpose.. it interfaces with gmail, and downloads your events, and you can add events. So any computer you're on, you can have a synced calendar.. and all stored at gmail. It's brilliant. And you can enter events really easily, jusy type "dec 5th game" and it'll add it on dec 5th. or "game today" and it'll add the event for today. "rowing 7pm" and it'll add it today for 7pm. A reminder window can pop up. 2 minor issues i've run into, are when the taskbar is on the far left, the notification gets cut off. And the focus is on the hide button of the reminder window.. so if you hit space then it goes.. but you should see the reminder window first.. (unless you have another window over it and set to "always on top"! and you type into it and hit space.. But It is open source too, so somebody may fix those minor things.. great program.
