What is Glenn?
Glenn is a modern, reactive health monitoring platform built for developers who need more than just basic HTTP uptime checks.
Unlike traditional monitors that only check if a website is up, Glenn can monitor a wide range of services including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, SSH, Redis, and RabbitMQ, in addition to standard HTTP/HTTPS endpoints. This makes it a single tool for monitoring your entire infrastructure.
Built with Spring WebFlux and R2DBC, Glenn features a fully non-blocking, reactive architecture that can handle thousands of concurrent checks with minimal resources. Data is persisted in PostgreSQL, allowing for years of historical analysis and complex queries.
The platform offers a clean, real-time dashboard with live updates via Server-Sent Events, response time tracking, detailed status history, and category filtering to organize your applications. A supervision view provides an at-a-glance overview of all services.
Designed with developers in mind, Glenn is pure Java and fits naturally into the Spring ecosystem, making it easy to extend and customize. It supports simple deployment with Docker and multi-architecture images for both amd64 and arm64 platforms.
