Give or Take

Give or Take is an app where people can gift items they no longer want to people who need those items. Givers post a photo and a brief description of each item they'd like to give away. Takers message givers about items they want. Givers choose whom to give their item to and setup a convenient meeting to hand over the item. Everything is free and absolutely no money changes hands!

Giving

• Simplify your life by getting rid of things you no longer want.
• Quickly and easily post free items to give away. Snap a picture, write a few sentences, and upload.
• You can share your item with your friends on Facebook.
• Interested takers will email you about your item. Choose one and arrange a pickup.
• Karma scores help you determine which interested person is the most reliable.
• "Promised" status allows you to continue to garner interest in your free item when awaiting pick-up without getting more emails.

Taking

• Browse for free items near you.
• Filter to search for a particular item or limit your search to items a certain distance away.
• Easily message givers to express interest in their item.
• Earn karma by reliably picking up items.

The app has been tested on iPhone 5 and iPhone 4S. We use Facebook for login exclusively, so you must have a Facebook account to use this app.
