An alternative to Powerpoint and Keynote for everyone on Git. Create public, private, and password-protected slideshow presentations using the tools you already know and love : Markdown + Git.
Enjoy seamless Git integration, versioning, and collaboration and instant online, offline, and PDF slideshow generation.
Simply use your favorite editor to create your slideshow content using GitHub Flavored Markdown and a simple slide delimiter. Then commit and push your PITCHME.md to any public or private repository on GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket.

Looks like a good improvement of Reveal.js but I guess that most of Reveal.js plugins or tools are not compatible with GitPitch.
Also the major drawback is offline slideshow. You are forced to push your slideshow online, no offline preview is possible unless you pay the subscription to get GitPitch Desktop but I read (https://github.com/gitpitch/gitpitch/issues/147) that even with this paid app you still need the bundle from gitpitch.com.
So for many people it is a more wise choice to stick with Reveal.js.
