What is GigXchange?
GigXchange is the UK's first peer-to-peer live music marketplace — built to democratise an industry that's been gatekept for too long.
The Problem
Booking a gig in the UK hasn't changed in decades. Artists cold-call venues, chase replies across WhatsApp and email, agree fees verbally, and hope they get paid. Venues scroll through Facebook groups, take a chance on acts they've never heard, and have no recourse when someone cancels last minute. There's no central platform, no contracts, no payment protection, and no accountability. It's an industry built on trust — but without any of the infrastructure to support it.
The Solution
GigXchange gives artists, venues, agents, and promoters one place to connect, book, and get paid — with protection built into every step.
Every booking includes a digitally signed contract, a secure Stripe deposit held in escrow, and a transparent two-way review system. Artists get paid on time. Venues get reliable talent. Both sides are protected by the platform, not by a handshake.
How It Works
Artists and venues create profiles with genre, location, capacity, budget, and availability. GigXchange's search and AI-powered matching connects the right acts with the right stages. Venues can post gigs and receive applications from verified artists. Artists can browse opportunities and apply with one click.
Once both sides agree, GigXchange generates a digital contract with e-signatures and collects a secure deposit via Stripe. Real-time messaging keeps everything in one thread per booking — no more scattered conversations. After the gig, both sides leave verified reviews and star ratings.

Who It's For
Solo artists, bands, DJs, tribute acts, function musicians, wedding singers, jazz trios, acoustic duos — any live music performer in the UK. Pubs, bars, restaurants, hotels, wedding venues, festivals, corporate event spaces — any venue that books live music. Agents who manage rosters and promoters who organise events.
Why GigXchange
Built by a musician who's been on the UK circuit since 2009. GigXchange exists because booking a gig shouldn't depend on who you know — it should depend on how good you are.
