What is Gidi?

Introducing Gidi, a Facebook messenger app that helps you find the perfect gift for any occasion: birthdays, holidays, anniversaries and more.

Gidi is an entirely new way to find the perfect gift—for every occasion.

Think of Gidi like a knowledgeable personal shopper. You can tell Gidi a bit about who you’re shopping for, what some of their interests are and what the occasion is then Gidi will come up with great gift ideas. It’s fast, easy and works on your phone or computer.

What is Gidi? It is Facebook Messenger integrated chatbot that helps anyone find the perfect gift.

How does it work? A user has a quick, fun chat with Gidi on Facebook, then Gidi finds creative and unique gifts based on the conversation.

How does it really work? Gidi is part robot, part human. It uses emerging technologies (natural language processing and machine learning) to have a thoughtful conversation with users. It then relies on data insights and curated gift selections from our team to match recipients with gifts based on that conversation.
