The game uses a semi-randomized Google Street View location and requires players to guess their location in the' and is a Puzzle Game in the games category. There are more than 25 games similar to GeoGuessr for a variety of platforms, including Web-based, iPhone, Android, iPad and Android Tablet apps. The best GeoGuessr alternative is City Guesser, which is free. Other GeoGuessr like games are GeoHub, Guess Where You Are, Geotastic and Back Of Your Hand.
Interesting idea but I don't think it's an alternative to GeoGuess with videos. It's just a different game.

Back Of Your Hand is a map-based game where you're given random street names and you have to locate them on the map. The area can be anywhere in the world (it's not limited to Cork or Ireland). You can play solo or compete with others using multiple phones / computers.
