What is GeaCron?
The website offers a world map of every year in history from 3000 BC up until the present, showing every nation, civilization, empire and culture that is known to have existed in each given year (BC dates are determined with a minus sign). There is the buttons of going 1, 10 or 100 years, back or forth. Sometimes the map takes a little bit to load.
Geacron's free version uses a 2D map with limited zoom, but allows the user to click on the labels over each society, which give a Wikipedia link and, sometimes, pictures relating to that society/civilization.
The Premium version uses a 3D globe instead of a 2D map, has increased zoom, and offers much more detailed info, such as historical and political context, geographical features, and much more. It is also ad-free, of course.
