What is AMP Font Viewer?
Complete font manager: view, organize, install, delete and print fonts lists (TrueType, OpenType and Type 1). This program is an easy to use but powerful font manager, which allows getting a quick overview of both installed and non installed fonts. It can install and uninstall fonts, and organize them in categories. Some of its features are:
- Supports TrueType and OpenType fonts.
- Supports Type1 fonts.
- Installation of fonts from a folder (one by one or from a list).
- Installation of fonts temporally (until the program is closed).
- Deletion of installed fonts.
- List of all installed fonts with several display options.
- List of the fonts from a folder with several display options.
- Several options for organizing fonts in categories and managing them.
- It can print a list of all or some of the installed fonts with an example of each font.
- Scratchpad area for testing the look of any font (installed or from a folder).
- Dual English/Spanish version.

Still the winner, after all these years. Fantastic font viewer, even in 2022.
After testing "NexusFont" and "Font Runner" I come to 'AMP Font Viewer'.
This time there are plenty of functions, it is very fast, faster than the previous two tested! The list of fonts is in a separate window, and the second small window allows to navigate easily! The interface does "not pay mine" but it is clear that this software has potential! :) I'm going to keep it both with Nexus, as with Nexus it is possible to make the copy-paste of names and full paths, but AMP Font Runner are faster and therefore more powerful.
Still an excellent free software!
I keep AMP FV, Fontview, and Nexus all installed. They all have their uses. But AMP FV gets used every day, and I only reach for the others in rare special cases.
If you are looking for powerful yet simple font viewer - stop. This one is perfect. It is portable and totaly free. You can browse installed fonts, fonts in other directories, install fonts temporarily.
