FontCreator

I am not a professional, but FontCreator has been very good for my tasks. By far it has the best interface with a very convenient set of functions that are easy to grasp. By now it's been several years since I've started using it and it really feels like the best tool for any font-related tasks. The developers are also really nice and offer all the support any client would require in casy of any troubles with the software. I recommend the FontCreator to anybody who needs an easy but powerful tool for working with fonts.

I am professional font developer since 2018. I have been using Font Creator ever since, in short, excellent software. An easy-to-use software for both beginners and professionals. Unlike other software, OpenType doesn't need to use separate software, it can be tested very easily during development time. I highly recommend FontCreator. Thank you.

I'm a font hobbyist. As a retired engineer, I find FontCreator an optimal choice for price and versatility. It's sufficiently intuitive that anyone who's reasonably computer-literate can jump in readily. Also, I find the level of precision satisfying: e.g., it permits rigorous construction of tangents, drawing conic sections, etc. for the style of fonts I like.

FontCreator had been my first choice for getting started in no time and producing satisfactory results. I had tried FontForge before but paying the price for FontCreator was really worth every penny. You can create from scratch or convert any normal Black and white Fonts to color fonts easily. Maybe FontCreator is the first choice Font software for anyone who wants to get started developing color fonts that too with multiple palettes. This software just makes things easy and quick. Loved it! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Font Creator is an excellent programme both for beginners and professionals alike. I used it when I first started out and now still use it just having had a font design accepted by MyFonts. I've tried other design packages but to no avail. Font Creator also excels as a vector design tool which I have used to create very accurate logos.

I have been using Font Creator since version 5.6 hence since about 2006. I am not a commercial font developer but I have used this font editor to pursue my hobby of designing calligraphic fonts from scratch. As a result I have designed fonts from Uncial, Carolingian, Italics and most of the others including faithful Trajan Capitals. It has been a delightful experience and I can strongly recommend Font Creator to anyone who has a professional need or looking for a new hobby.

The key features of Font Creator is its short learning time. I got designing after reading the first half a page of a worked example from the program's manual. It is that user friendly. Other font editors require several weeks of intense learning cycle. With Font Creator I got going basically in a few minutes.

I am also a user of FontLab. A great program and perhaps the best in the market, but after 5 years or more I am still learning and nearly always I opt to go back to Font Creator and accomplish my task much quicker.

My only regret is that Font Creator is only available for Windows and since I became a Mac user I have to boot-up my desktop or MacBook Pro as a Windows machine. But Font Creator in 5K resolution is a treat to view. In short: Font Creator is simple to learn, powerful and does it all. Professional font developers will find it very productive indeed.
