What is Fishing Rival 3D?
Fishing Rival is a free to play mobile fishing simulator game. Start your angling at Miami Beach and collect lures to catch new fishes and unlock more fisheries. Play solo or join a club to gain extra benefits. There are endless events in which to participate where you can earn prizes and perks.
Each fishery displays a beautiful backdrop and realistic water effects. 3D fish models do justice to their real life counterparts with over 300 species. Portrait orientation allows an up-close view of caught fishes while scrolling is used during angling to give a feeling of depth to the environment. Gameplay is heavily lottery based, an outcome value is randomly chosen from a range of numbers influenced by managed equipment, perks, and player timing.

Comments and Reviews
Fishing Rival is obviously inspired by Fishing Clash with near-identical gameplay mechanics. The graphics & sound have been stepped up though. The screen scrolls with movement of the fish & rod instead of a static background. It includes all the tropes of a free-to-play/pay-optional game with gems used as in-game currency for buying items & perks from the shop. Like Fishing Clash players can engage in solo & club events.
Sadly, player experience is degraded by an overwhelming number of bots, which the developer appears to make no effort to regulate. I can't attest to support service, as I have had no reason to contact the developers. But other reviews claim no response to support requests. At least the Fishing Clash team responded to me, even if they were unhelpful. The website appears unmaintained but from what I can gather the parent company is based in Shanghai, China.
In summary, if you want to play Fishing Clash, but not Fishing Clash, play Fishing Rival. It is in essence the same game by a different developer. But I recommend Fishing Elite over any other mobile fishing game/simulator.
