FEMM Alternatives

FEMM is described as 'Suite of programs for solving low frequency electro magnetic problems on two-dimensional planar and axisymmetric domains. The program currently add resses linear/nonlinear magneto- static problems, linear/nonlinear time harmonic magnetic problems, linear electrostatic p' and is an app in the education & reference category. There are three alternatives to FEMM for Windows, Linux and Mac. The best FEMM alternative is GetDP, which is both free and Open Source. Other great apps like FEMM are Agros2D and QuickField.
