Players can mix and match heroes to form strategic teams, leveraging a variety of skills such as stealth, interference, control, healing, reconnaissance, immunity, shields, quick movements, airdrops, and turrets.

These include a long-range Mobile Turret, a stealthy Hoverbike, a Flamethrower, a precision-bombing Gunboat, and a flying Air Beast armor. These vehicles provide players with massive firepower and unique abilities to dominate the battlefield.
Progression System: Farlight 84 incorporates a progression system where players can level up their weapons and shields by shooting enemies and finding supplies, respectively. This creates an "exhilarating escalation" as the match progresses, with characters becoming more powerful over time.
