    The first halves of Crysis and its stand-alone expansion Warhead are great for Far Cry fans—plus you get the nano suit! The second halves of these games are annoying, once the aliens arrive as opposition—just like the Trigens ruined the original Far Cry. Crysis 2 & 3 are not good alternatives, as they suffer from console-first design—so goodbye open world and choices for strategy and tactics.
