What is Fabgrad?

Targeted at college education, Fabgrad is a mobile first, video led, social learning platform trying to address the demand of current generation learners for high quality learning resources available anywhere, anytime that is personalized and self paced. We are trying to improve the digital learning pedagogy by making learning resources modular and elemental that are linked to each other, thereby providing a discovery based smooth learning experience to a learner. At the user end we are innovating on deeply integrating social into the mundane of self learning, thereby retaining the offline collaborative college going experience. Our positioning at the intersection of the cutting edge of digital pedagogy and social led delivery technology is a pioneering effort that can have far reaching positive impact on the future of young adult education.

Problem Statement Students from 80%+ colleges are grossly under-served in consistent and quality education (teaching/learning) owing to limitations in availability of qualified teaching staff, infrastructure etc. Today’s college goers were born and have grown up in the era of Google, Facebook Netflix, Gaana, Byju’s etc - They relate to digital and on-demand. On one side when the learner expects cutting edge that is in line with today's generation what he gets is low quality education delivered in an archaic method. This results in extremely low retention, very low joy of learning, and significantly affects employability of graduates.
