The user interface works from one column up to many as needed, always depending the size of its window. Configure shortcuts and Apple Remote in order to get a better control on your music. The 'Desktop Widget' is a customizable HTML/CSS widget that lets you control your music even more easily. Doesn't appear to have been updated since 2012. Real shame, because it has amazing potential. I stopped using it because it kept opening iTunes and freezing, but give it a try, it might work for you.
My intention was to have an alternative to iTunes, but there doesn't seem to be anything for Mac at all.
Amazing little application! Love that it integrates with Last.fm. Looking forward to 2.0 next month :)
So great. Exactly what I have been looking for. It skis a bit on my older (3 years) system, but Ecoute 2 is coming out soonish, and the developer says he should take care of it.
Love this app. Its simple, clean, and does exactly what I want, without all the bloat of iTunes.
