ECMR

This project is an example for a digital convention relative au contrat de transport international de marchandises par route (eCMR) service which can be used for road transports, especially designed für cross-border relations. It can also be seen as a digital implementation of the analog CMR. The aim of the development project is to map all eCMR-related transport operations on the system and to make the planned services available at the relevant stages of the supply chain. This includes the initial creation of the eCMR (e.g. by the customer), the recording of transport information and the storage of the eCMR. The data integrity is given by the usage of the blockchain. The downstream users (consignor, forwarder and consignee) have access to the eCMR, as soon as it is shared with them, and can supplement information, share the document with other users and add signatures. The services developed in the project focus on handling and forwarding the eCMR.
