DropMe

Public transport can be a headache. And sometimes, so can your own vehicle, because of the excess traffic and pollution. To help curb this problem, we introduce DropMe, which is a carpooling app for events. Carpooling is one of the sure solutions to traffic, but it hasn't caught on yet, primarily as people aren't comfortable travelling with random strangers. Which is why, we stick to events, which are essentially social gatherings, and where people meet and greet new people, and the app connects such event members who share a common route with each other. Moreover, currently, we are restricting our users for return travel only. Which means once the app connects them with others on the same route, they have to attend the event and actually meet them in the flesh, get to know them better, before they can start carpooling. In case you're in need of a ride and there's no one in your route, the app also connects you with other event goers who also haven't got a ride and who share your route, and the two of you can share some form of public transport together, like taking a cab together. P.S. The users have to choose a role from the two options - Dropper, if they're taking a vehicle to the event, else Passenger
