Dorion information
What is Dorion?
Dorion is a lightweight Discord client with themes, plugins, and more. It uses minimal storage space, eliminating the need for Node.js runtime and a bundled Chromium browser. It offers cache clearing options and has smaller installation files than many alternatives.
Dorion is a Rust project compiled into a single binary for native x86 and ARM, eliminating the need for an updater before launch. Its custom updater operates within the client to avoid startup interruptions. It runs the web version of Discord with high-performance, custom reimplementations of desktop-only features like arRPC-compatible rsRPC, global custom keybinds, and more.
Dorion uses your operating system's built-in webview implementation for a small installation footprint. It uses Microsoft WebView2 for Windows, WebKitGTK for Linux, and WKWebview for MacOS. The client supports modding, requires Shelter for backend/frontend communication and UI elements, and integrates with Vencord and Equicord for added functionality. Dorion offers performance choice, with most features being optional and disable-able for low-end systems. Large features like RPC are disabled by default for flexibility and control over performance.

Comments and Reviews
Super lightweight, allows for both Vencord and Equicord (fork of Vencord) mods/plugins (not simultaneous) as well as Shelter mods/plugins simultaneous to the Ven/Equicord plugins. Allows for more control over your client, and more customisation. Support for BetterDiscord plugins also either exists or will be added. Just make sure you have all required dependencies.
