Great suite for conducting extensive domain research, regardless of business process. The data is exhaustive. We use it for threat hunting.

What is Domain Research Suite (DRS)?

DRS is a WhoisXML API 9-in-1 web-based suite of tools for searching and monitoring domain data.

The platform comprises:

  1. Reverse WHOIS Search: Lists domains currently or historically connected to a specific WHOIS record detail (e.g., a registrant organization or email address).

  2. WHOIS History Search: Lets you retrieve the historical WHOIS data of domains, including ownership and administration details, before their records were redacted.

  3. WHOIS Search: Tells you the current WHOIS record details of specific domains.

  4. Reverse DNS Search: Provides a list of domains connected to a domain name, an IP address, a mail server, or a name server.

  5. Domain Availability Check: Determines the availability of specific domains.

  6. Domains & Subdomains Discovery: Enables you to uncover domains and subdomains containing specific search strings.

  7. Domain Monitor: Sets off alerts each time domains get registered, dropped, or their WHOIS records updated.

  8. Registrant Monitor: Lets you track the domain-related activities of specific individuals, organizations, or email address owners.

  9. Brand Monitor: Keeps you updated on domains containing specific brand or company names, including yours.

DRS obtains data from multi-billion WHOIS records for several hundreds millions of domains spread across thousands of top-level domains (TLDs).

The platform allows you to:

  • Unmask fraudsters using current and historical WHOIS information, website screenshots, and other record details DRS provides.
  • Uncover domains possibly connected to known threat actors’ infrastructures.
  • Enrich look-alike domain investigations by looking at their content and registrants.
  • Get email alerts each time the properties you’re tracking undergo changes.
  • Set alerts each time domains targeting your brand get registered on DRS monitoring tools.
  • Keep track of your competitors and industry with data on relevant domain registrations.

DRS search and monitoring results can help you address phishing, counterfeiting, cybersquatting, fraud, scams, and other online threats with due diligence. You can also learn all about third parties by studying their domains with the help of DRS. The platform also enhances such processes as IoC expansion, counterfeiting detection, and market research and competitor monitoring.
