Dockge

Dockge could be considered a Portainer replacement if you're only managing your container with docker-compose. However, for managing docker networks and single containers, Portainer might still be necessary. You can install both Dockge and Portainer.

What is Dockge?

Dockge could be considered a Portainer replacement if you're only managing your container with docker-compose. However, for managing docker networks and single containers, Portainer might still be necessary. You can install both Dockge and Portainer.

The name "Dockge" was created by the author, inspired by Twitch emotes. The focus of Dockge is on using the docker compose.yaml. For managing a single container, Portainer or Docker CLI are recommended.

Existing stacks can be managed by moving your compose file into the stacks directory and then scanning the stacks folder in Dockge.

You've been using Portainer but are sometimes dissatisfied with its stack management? Issues include loading delays during stack deployment and unclear error messages? Additionally, the business license cost is a deterrent? DockerGE, developed by the creator of UptimeKuma, is a potential alternative.
