dlm is described as 'A stupid simple graphical login manager. Written in Rust because I felt like it. Uses greetd' and is an app. There are more than 10 alternatives to dlm for Linux, Qt, Wayland, i3 and Rust. The best dlm alternative is nwg-hello, which is both free and Open Source.
