derasterize Alternatives

derasterize is described as 'Converts pictures into Unicode text with Ansi colors for display within a terminal. It performs lots of AVX2 optimized math to deliver the best quality on modern terminals with 24-bit color support, e.g. Kitty, Gnome Terminal, CMD.EXE, mintty, mlterm, etc' and is an app. There are four alternatives to derasterize for Linux, Xfce, Mac and Windows. The best derasterize alternative is Libcaca, which is both free and Open Source. Other great apps like derasterize are hiptext, png2linetext and textview.
