I tried the vast majority of Mac OS X diff apps. This was the only one that was able to handle diffs of 100,000+ files in massive directory structures. Everything else crashed.
It can generate a nice stand-alone set of HTML report files so you can click around the diff tree to gain a sense of differences between the huge trees without the program running, or share with colleagues who don't have licenses easily.
