make a switch to one of the alternatives, delicious isnt good anymore
Why is that?
A single bookmark takes too much space on the screen, so you need a lot of scrolling to browse the list. Tags are nice but when you want to take a quick look at the list, there is some trouble with that.
https://larder.io is an alternative bookmarking site that I haven't heard much buzz about, but it seems to be pretty good - it at least looks nice, so that's something. lol
Looks like the service was reworked once more and is now running on del.icio.us like before and my login works and they have all my links from before.
false alarm. delicious is not going to close, it's going to [something else :D] "While we have determined that there is not a strategic fit at Yahoo!, we believe there is a ideal home for Delicious outside of the company where it can be resourced to the level where it can be competitive." ref: http://blog.delicious.com/index.htm
