I am trying to coin a new term, known as "web3tard" (clever, i know) describing the illusionary expectations, and over-hyped pseudo-utopian vision of blockchain technology, defi and modern "decentralized" product pushers, who promote an uninformed, non-existent protocol of privacy, and package it all as "web3". These people, a lot of whom are genZers, think web3 represents "the future" as if replacing web2 is exactly the fix that the modern web needs, despite a whole new series of insecurities, breaches of privacy and opportunities for scammers, hackers and startup-funding fraudsters to do their bidding. Why is defi so important to these people anyways? Is there really THAT much need for trading crytpo? That there are a million and one different wallets and currencies? And had anyone other than hired influencers, ever made even passive income from any of these cryptojacking "get-paid-to-use" products? Get real.
I am unable to find a product on their website that match the description mentioned here at AlternativeTo. Where is that decentralized app that allows publishing/sharing of digital content?
