Debut is a native macOS screen recording app that makes your recordings look professional without the learning curve or the subscription. It automatically applies smooth zoom animations that follow your cursor, polished motion effects, and clean exports — the same kind of polish you'd expect from Screen Studio, except it's $25 once instead of $108/year. Built it because I kept putting off making demo videos for my own projects. Couldn't justify paying subscription prices just to record my screen, so I made something I'd actually want to use. Perfect if you're an indie dev, content creator, or just someone who wants their screen recordings to look good without messing around in a video editor afterwards.
