What is COPID Verify?
COPID Verify is a B2B age-verification service for 18+ websites and online platforms. You add it to your product through a simple web flow or API integration. When a user tries to access restricted content, COPID Verify runs the verification session, returns a final result, and issues a short-lived, server-verifiable token/attestation that your backend can use to grant or block access. The token is temporary (e.g., 10 minutes) and is tied to that session.
The service is designed for age assurance, not for identifying users. It does not provide end-user identifying data to the merchant unless explicitly agreed. Session data is kept only briefly (TTL) and then deleted; if a document fallback is enabled, document images are handled in transit and are not stored.
For uncertain cases, COPID Verify applies a conservative approach: borderline outcomes are denied by default, or if you enable the optional Document Fallback add-on, the user is asked for an additional document check to reach a final decision.
