College Overlook

College Overlook is a free web app with an efficient and visual approach to college research, and provides links to authoritative data. Users get college profiles and can mark favorite colleges on the map for future reference.

Visualizing colleges on a map gives a sense of place so often factoring into a prospective student's criteria.

Some features:

• Filter by six significant criteria (acceptance rate, number of undergrads, public/private, etc.)
• Search for a specific college, with suggestions automatically appearing after a few keystrokes
• Set or remove favorites, which will appear as uniquely styled markers
• Save the current map showing your favorites and filters. A unique URL will be generated to share with others, and to pick up where you left off on any other device
• Fast loading.
