What is Codidact?
Ever had a question? Ever had an answer? Ever had knowledge to share? We believe that coming together to inquire and learn, to share knowledge and to teach each other, makes the world a better place. We also believe that Q&A communities should be free from the politics and shenanigans of private, profit-focused companies.
Codidact hosts a network of communities at codidact.com ranging from software development to electrical engineering to role-playing games, or you can use the free open-source platform to run your own network for your school, company, or organization.

Nice thinking behind the initiative, But sadly driven or peddled by religion and other subjective things. Different sections dedicated for it like judaism or the christianity where theres no one real seems interested in the discussion. We need Stackexchange and Stackoverflow alternatives as Dr. Yanis Varoufakis nicely said most precious thing on such propriatary sites is our data.
I like Codidact (disclosure: I'm a founder) because the platform team works togetherwith the community to build what's needed, in public, transparently. Codidact, being a newer platform without a decade of technical debt, can try new things -- categories and more post types, a scoring system that takes controversy into account, privileges based on what you've actually done (not just on points), community-specific additions like a leaderboard for our Code Golf community... the team is still small so might not be able to do everything right away, but it's also open-source and contributions are welcome. To me, the core principle driving it all is that it's community-driven.
