What is CMSV6?
CMSV6 is a Server software and client Application that is built for storing, disseminating and consuming live and near-live video and audio streams captured from mobile DVR devices like School Buses, Trucks and Fleet Dashcams, Police Body Worn Camera so on. CMSV6 or CMSV7 is part of vehicle monitoring systems. monitoring products of Mobile DVR, Car DVR, Vehicle CCTV, Vehicle DVR and more in addition to the ones already mentioned above. The issue is that it's not open source and the only certificate is from the Ministry of Communications (JT/T 808, JT/T 809) a department of the Government of China. Hence it's transparency, freedom from backdoors and respect for organizational privacy is as yet an open ended question. There are myriad of systems that are available to connect to this software as it complies with certain standards for handling video files and streams.
