CloudSploit is a software-as-a-service startup with a mission to improve security in public clouds such as Amazon Web Services. With open source, free, and paid hosted products, CloudSploit is an affordable way to ensure simple misconfigurations or security risks do not compromise entire environments. CloudSploit works without the need to run any agents by connecting to the AWS APIs and continually checking hundreds of possible threats.

With the recent massive migration to the cloud, thousands of businesses have left behind traditional data centers in favor or cloud providers. While these providers offer top-notch security, the onus of configuring the vast array of security options rests on the end user. Given the thousands of configurations and settings within AWS, it can become incredibly difficult for a small team of developers to ensure they are inadvertently putting their infrastructure at risk. CloudSploit helps solve this problem by automating the scanning of accounts for risks and misconfigurations across scores of services and providing easy-to-follow guides for fixing them.
