City of Hats is a secure messaging platform introducing a new concept called location-controlled messaging.
Messages can be locked so they can only be opened inside a specific geographic area defined by the sender. Access can be verified using telecom network signals or GPS depending on the region.
The platform also integrates telecom-based verification through AIS in Thailand, helping confirm device ownership and reduce account impersonation.
This approach creates a new type of conditional communication where a message can only be accessed under certain physical conditions, adding an additional layer of security beyond traditional end-to-end encryption.
