What is CiBioBase?

The CI BioBase System is a revolutionary bathymetric and aquatic vegetation mapping software that uses a combination of acoustic data collection with Lowrance™ HDS depth finders and powerful cloud computing. Acoustic data is gathered on the water using powerful yet inexpensive Lowrance™ HDS depth finders and SD cards. These data logs are then uploaded to a private BioBase account online for automated processing.

By using automated processing techniques, it’s easy to effectively and efficiently establish a lake "baseline" for lake quality monitoring, objective aquatic analysis, management plan creation and adjustments, and important management recommendations. With the innovative BioBase System, a historical database of each aquatic environment is quickly built to monitor vegetation and other important water quality characteristics over time. This database is the catalyst for efficient management today and in the future. Because the data is warehoused online, members of a home owners assocation or state and federal resource managment entity can pool data together for effective crowd sourcing of vegetation mapping data.
