What is Centro?

Centro is a Slack app that combines Email, SMS, and Salesforce data to easily collaborate with your team and communicate with your customers.

Centro is a shared inbox and Salesforce connector for revenue teams to thrive in Slack. Slack is where teams discuss customer requests, issues, and deal questions. Salesforce is the system of record and reporting. Email and SMS messages with the customer often done in a silo. Centro is bringing these 3 platforms together, where collaboration and responsiveness directly translates to time saved and higher customer satisfaction. Customer emails can be collaborated on, important deal info is shared, and Salesforce data can be updated in one place; Slack.

We started our idea with a "Slack within Salesforce" concept. Salesforce has a feature called Chatter that is notoriously unliked. As we evolved the concept by talking to potential users, it was clear that discussions about customer accounts was happening in Slack, not Salesforce. Salesforce is good for structured data and reporting; Slack is wonderful for unstructured chat and discussions. Those attributes can be detrimental to both systems. Since people are using Slack anyways, why not have a tether back to Salesforce, the system of record? Syncing Salesforce and Slack is only part of the picture. Teams want to collaborate on emails and customer communication as well. There can be a lot of time wasted working together on the exact message to a customer. We built a shared inbox for email collaboration in Slack. The Salesforce data, group knowledge, and customer response, all centralized (Centro) in Slack. We understand the space technically and the market overall, after 10 years of building multiple successful Salesforce/CRM applications
