What is CColorPalette?

CColorPalette is a free, browser based color palette generator built for designers and developers who care about accessibility. Generate palettes with color harmony modes, check WCAG contrast ratios instantly, preview common color vision deficiencies, and export tokens you can paste straight into a project.

Press Space to generate a new palette, then customize it by locking colors, adding or removing colors (up to 8), reordering, and undoing or redoing changes. A history panel lets you restore recent palettes if you reroll by accident. The interface keeps panels inside the workspace so you can take clean screenshots without popups getting in the way.

Accessibility tools include per color text contrast scoring with AA and AAA indicators and color blindness simulation for protanopia, deuteranopia, tritanopia, and monochrome. This helps you pick palettes that still work when vision varies or when colors are used as UI state.

Export options cover developer friendly formats, including CSS variables, Tailwind config snippets, SCSS variables, and JSON with metadata. You can also download PNG and SVG exports and share a palette link that preserves the exact colors and settings.
