You can also preview an external camera. However, there's currently no plan to add support for making the camera feed a circle.
This app is better than Photo Booth due to its convenient access, keyboard shortcut, higher quality camera output, uncropped camera output, minimalistic design, photo captures without countdown, photos saved to file system, and always-on-top window feature. The app values your privacy with no tracking and inability to connect to the internet due to macOS-enforced restrictions.
