Prior to install I created a specific calendar on Google just for "Employer". It was relatively easy to add my Google account, verify it via a browser session (which did a url-redirect to localhost:51726 to pass the Google OAuth token back) . It took 2 tries to get the token. The UI is using what I'll describe as a Windows 10 layout which I was/am not used to. You may want to change the default +/- 120 days synching to something smaller initially. I went 1 day back, 10 days forward.
This area of Google calendar synching is relatively unpopulated. This is currently my choice for conveying my work email calendar out to my Google Account.
