Based on my observations, this currently appears to be the most advanced boycott app in terms of raw features:

  • You have the flexibility to choose which country you wish to boycott.
  • You can join groups based on nationality or shared interests.
  • It is possible to support various boycott campaigns, covering areas such as human rights, environmental issues, and animal welfare.
  • The app appears to request minimal tracking and very few permissions.
  • The organization is headquartered in the European Union, operating under GDPR, and is listed as a nonprofit on LinkedIn.

However, IMO they seem to be facing financial constraints, which has slowed down the development of the app at the moment. If their planned ethical advertising network becomes operational, they might resume enhancing the app. They are open to feedback and suggestions, so you can reach out to them with your ideas. I hope that with proper funding they will also make the app open source. I am including it here because I find it very helpful to use in combination with No Thanks.
