EDIT: update needed on my already bad review for BountySource... people claims of not being paid back by the website are pilling up. While it still accepts new bounties and money for them, no one has been able to claim anything back that they should rightfully own. At this point, BountySource has become a full-on scam to fuel a bankrupt cryptocurrency company. That will never give back.

Used to be a good way to incentivize resolving specific issues... unfortunately it's all gone very sour. In 2020 Bountysource was acquired by a cryptocurrency company that tried changing their TOS retroactively to claim for themselves the money on long-standing bounties Shady at best, worryingly inhuman at worst.
