What is Bonnard?

Bonnard is a semantic layer built for AI agents and B2B products. You define your metrics and dimensions once in YAML, connect your data warehouse, andevery consumer - AI agents, embedded dashboards, and automated reports - gets the same governed answer.

Unlike traditional BI tools that require end users to build their own dashboards, Bonnard provides pre-built analytics surfaces: an AI chat interface that queries your governed metrics, embeddable charts and tables for your product, and auto-generated data digests. Multi-tenancy and role-based access control are built in, so each customer only sees their own data.

Bonnard connects to Snowflake, BigQuery, Databricks, PostgreSQL, ClickHouse, DuckDB, and Redshift. It ships with a React SDK for embedding analytics in your product and a CLI for managing your semantic layer as code.
