BlueSoleil information
What is BlueSoleil?
BlueSoleil is a Bluetooth software and driver designed to function with Microsoft Windows, Linux, and Windows CE operating systems. It is compatible with Bluetooth chipsets from a range of manufacturers including CSR, Broadcom, and Marvell. The software is often included with Bluetooth dongles, PCs, laptops, PDAs, PNDs, and UMPCs, usually with a version that has limited functionality and OEM licensing.
While BlueSoleil was once a necessity on many systems, it has become less essential on modern computers. This is largely due to the fact that effective Bluetooth drivers for the most commonly used Bluetooth chips have been accessible through Windows Update since the release of Windows Vista. As a result, the need for this software has diminished in recent years.
