What is Flashpoint Archive?
A webgame preservation project and archive.
Internet history and culture is important, and content made on web platforms including, but not limited to Adobe Flash, make up a significant portion of that culture. This project is dedicated to preserving as many experiences from these platforms as possible, so that they aren't lost to time. Since early 2018, Flashpoint has saved more than 100,000 games and 10,000 animations running on 35 different platforms.

Love the thought. People need to know the true story why Flash was bumped off the internet. Steve Jobs was smart enough to make sure nothing else exceeded his OS Systems. Thinking ahead, he knew FLASH would make him and his OS obsolete. Watch the movie about him again. He completely made up a FAKE New System in order to regain control of Apple with 'ONE NEW IDEA' that was based on one last winning portion of Software Apple Had left... which, was QUICKTIME. Using the coding of Quicktime- Apple was able to introduce Music, Phone and other Ideas. But he was never going to allow this Formerly Known-As Macromedia FlashWARE to cause him a second derailment. He was able to convince the Pencil Pushers that Flash was a Bad Thing. I could go on and show you by contrast the proof of this argument but I'll simply say this.
Steve Job Personally set the Internet experience back MANY YEARS by successfully convincing Adobe, Google & Others not to support the more Advance Programming Language that was built into Flash & Director all formerly known as Macromedia Flash & Director.
Let me leave you with this. Flash built projects, Small or Great can be compiled and uploaded to the web using ONE .SWF file. (all this XML and other stuff was made necessary to add control or functionality to what Flash Produced, mainly for those without the full program or access to it ) but didn't really need other plugins or file extensions.
Sorry, enough of that. I've Posted my comment(s) on the QQWall too.
