Berty is a secure peer-to-peer messaging app that works with or without internet access, cellular data or trust in the network. Berty is a privacy-first messaging application built on top of the Berty Protocol.

The app worked great for offline airplane travel, though on iOS 17.3.1 it was a bit buggy. Alot of improvement needs to be done, it's just a simple text app. No voice memos, no self distructing messages, no phone calls.
