What is Beholder?

Beholder is a powerful Photogrammetry application built by Beholder Vision Ltd that enables you to build 3D models of objects from sets of photos. Beholder can either be used online as a SaaS, or alternatively if you have a Windows PC with an NVidia GPU then Beholder can be used as a desktop application that is FREE for personal, non-commercial use.

You'll need a set of good quality photos (20 or more) of the object that you want to build a 3D model of. Once you have the photos you drag and drop them onto the browser to upload them to Beholder and then click on 'Align Images'. Aligning the images will work out where the camera was in 3D space when the images were taken and give you a point cloud of the object you're building. If the point cloud looks good you can then click on 'Construct Mesh' to build a textured model of the object. At that point you can download the model in a variety of 3D file formats for use in applications like 3D printing, games, film, or anything else that you'd want a 3D model for!

Beholder SaaS operates on a credit system and each month, every user gets 100 credits for free, enough to reconstruct 100 photos. If more credits are needed then they can be bought either pay-as-you-go, or as part of a monthly subscription.
