It is free it is not better than ScreamingFrog but then that is $250 yearly so for free it is amazing and there isn't a another actually free tool like it.
The crawler has been updated today 26 Feb 2024 and is now supported after many years of being discontinued. It continues free as always.
Quote from the official blog :
So currently we do not really support any of the software as it is largely discontinued as we are busy with other projects. However we keep getting many emails about issues with Mac/Linux versions so to make things easier we will no longer be offering the downloads to these versions without this warning
The new software will be released next week :)
