BatteryBar Pro is great but I believe they've gone out of business or something.
I purchased a license yesterday and I am unable to use it to activate the pro version. There is some sort of error message that pops up saying that some part of the server has been "moved permanently" and something with NGINX and Ubuntu.
I have contacted support for their Offline Activation option and will update this review if they get back to me, which I'm a bit doubtful will happen. Since it was only $4 that was lost, I am not too unhappy about that specifically, I'm more disappointed with the fact that I cannot keep the advanced features beyond the 30 day trial. This program really was the best and I've been using it for years. It's quite a shame they're gone.
Hey, Richard. Have you received a response from the Battery Bar Team? I am considering a purchase... Much thanks.
I really like this application. A lot of good info without taking up a ton of system resources, and all the info I wanted about my battery. The only problem is I think it's discontinued. It hasn't been updated since 2015, and it bugs out on Windows 10. I hope this guy is still around and willing to update this. His website advertises $4 lifetime licenses. Not bad for a handy little app.
