What is Baidu WiFi Hotspot?
Baidu WiFi Hotspot conveniently turns a computer into a wireless router for sharing both Internet connection and files. Whether you are using cable network or USB dongle, you will easily share your Internet with compatible devices. The program allows you to set your preferred nickname and password and determine the people with whom you want to share the hotspot. Depending on your hardware, the software may create the free WiFi hotspot in adhoc mode, which may prevent some phones from connecting.

Fast installation, simple design, without any cumbersome. after many trials with other alternatives, Baidu wifi hotspot has won.
It works flawlessly, just as expected. Also includes a simple file transfer feature. And no ads or bloatware!
[Edit:] found one small issue: what looks like a tray icon is actually a single icon toolbar, such strange design choice...
[Edit:] ran into another problem: it no longer works; it just throws an exception on startup, even after reinstalling.
[Edit:] since this issue did not resolve itself, I have found a working solution here. Using an elevated command prompt enter:
netsh winsock resetnetsh int ip resetipconfig /releaseipconfig /renewipconfig /flushdnsthen restart Windows and things should work again.
[Edit:] it stopped working again and the above fix did not seem to help anymore. I have switched to the old Virtual Router instead.
It doesn´t exist anymore... http://www.pcfaster.com/en/lp/wifiPopularize.php is a dead link.
