Bable

With Bable, you can send messages to anyone, and they will receive it in their language, translated instantly. When they reply to you, you will get it in your own language. No need for your contacts to use Bable (although it would be nice!). It will work for them as regular SMS messages. Bable will recognize the language of people when you receive a message. It will then use a translation to that same language when sending the message out. You don’t have to worry about any of this though, for you it will all be your own language! By default, Bable will take use your device settings to determine your language. But you can change this in the Bable settings as you like. So if you have a phone with French settings, you will receive all your messages in French, no matter what language they were sent in! Neat, no? Note that an internet connection is required for translations to be active. You can receive messages offline and translate them as soon as you are online. Basically, everybody will just speak your language. Just like with the tower of Babel. Or wait, I am mixing things up now ;-)
