BABACAD is not Free anymore. The basic 2D CAD software is around 69$
The free 2D (2017 version) was useful and easy to use for those familiar with AutoCAD, but it was quit buggy and unstable as well. This is the reason I did not feel to pay for the paid version (2018). Instead i switch to NanoCAD 5.0 (the free version) which is similar for the basic feature to both AutoCAD and BABACAD. Nanocad basic is more expensive as it cost 180$/year.
